After
a 30 minutes walk passing the beach Ponta da Pedra, it's settled Gamboa's
Beach.
This beach belongs to Gamboa Village, a little town of fishermen situated
on the north-west side of the Tinhare Island. Many people choose this beach
because it's a quiet place to rest.
Despite it is away from Morro, it is the only beach of this part of the island
where people can get services such as bathroom, drinks, food, etc.
Gamboa is a colorful village, a mixture of small wood-made fishing boats,
friendly settlers and typical seaside constructions; ideal place for people
who love photography.
Sunsets is a "have to" in this beach, and sometimes people can enjoy a magic moment when the sun sets at the same time as the moon rice from the opposite. To fully enjoy this beach it's important to be aware of the circles of the tides in order to avoid getting wet or hurt by the sea.
Before
the Gamboa Beach it's situated the Ponta da Pedra Beach. It's
about a 15 minutes walk from Morro. People would find a beach surrounded by
rocks and blue calm waters. Without any service, it's the right place to spend
a peaceful and relaxing beach day.
A hillside of mod is one of the attractions of the island; it's located at
the end of this beach. Besides people use to play with the mud (archila),
it has hydrating properties very good for the skin and hair. If people come
to Morro, can not miss this beach.
